Our team was created in January 10' during off season to try to get a full new roster for CEVO-A Season 5. During this time I was fairly new to the game and met someone who agreed to create a team and I pretty much based all my decisions from him since I was still new and didn't know anyone. After a while of tryouts we finally managed to pull a full roster about a couple weeks later until a week before CEVO started. Like any new team we had our issues and both soldiers and one scout decided to move on because it wasn't the place for them. It felt like the team wasn't going to make it for the season. I doubted that it wouldn’t even be possible to keep going with creating a team. I remember it was the same week CEVO registration was going to fold to a close. Luckily, it was extended and it gave me some more time. During the extra week I managed to pickup two soldiers and another scout. We had debates to do or not to do ESEA Season 6 because we were still roughly new and didn't understand how well or how bad we would be. Finally, we decided not to go on with ESEA, for the team's sake. During CEVO-A Season 5 we rolled through the majority of our matches finishing with a 13-0 record and coming in 1st place. Many people say that we were one of the few teams that reached the Mid level fairly fast compared to other teams who were new and fresh. After CEVO-A during off season we played less and less each day. It came to the point where we didn't play for a couple days, weeks, etc. Back when we started playing again it was really depressing on how things changed. We played different; nobody was in sync and arguments every game. Issues became bigger and bigger and as a leader I know I had to eliminate the problem before it killed the team completely. Around middle-end of July I decided to take action. We removed one soldier from our team and with that, Green (backup) decided to that he didn't want to commit so much time and moved to backup and we also lost scout. Again, I was stuck in the same situation as last season, looking for players to fill our roster for the next up-coming season. After tryouts and many more tryouts we finally found our three new players.
Sponsor Search
When I started this team we we're originally sponsored by a small community who pretty much just gave us a server and mumble. During the middle of the season we were tired of the treatment we received. We felt like we deserved a sponsor who would respect and support us mostly. When we hit playoffs we had a meeting with them and decided to part our ways. In this time I was desperate looking for someone to help us out with a server and mumble. We got nailed hardcore and lost everything not even a place to sit and talk to each other. I then looked through my friend's list and I right away saw Nahanni's name. First thing that came to my mind is possibly the nicest person in TF2. I then spoke to her and she helped us as much as she could. She made us feel like we already had a home at AG before we even got sponsored by them. We got a channel in the AG mumble and she tried to help us as much as she could with a server. Since, we had a stable place to meet we still looked for sponsors. During, my time looking for a sponsor IT WAS A NIGHTMARE! Everywhere we went seemed like it was a nightmare. They either treated us extremely bad with no respect or didn’t give us what they promised, etc. After a while Nahanni came up to me and gave us the offer to be AG's mid level team. It's really ironic how the person I originally went to, was willing to give us a sponsorship. If it wasn't for Nahanni and the AG community we would most likely be sponsor-less.
