It all started when two female TF2 medics, Nahanni and Meo, met through a team captain of a low TF2 competitive team by the name of iCreate in April 2009. Nahanni and Meo just “clicked” and are now inseparable. Nahanni and Meo wanted to start a competitive female team and asked for support of the community that they were a part of at the time. Even though there was effort from the community it did not work out as well as Nahanni and Meo had hoped. After some discussion it was decided that a private server would be purchased so a female team could be built to go into competitive play for the fall. So in August 2009 a server was purchased with a huge learning curve as Nahanni or Meo never ran a server before. It was then suggested by some members of iCreate’s low team, as Meo was thier main medic at the time, that we build a small community. Some more discussions and in a short period of time |AG| was in the beginning phase of being built. The planning started the end of August until Nahanni had an injury at work in early September and was forced to stay at home for 2 months. Nahanni didn’t waste this precious time and used it to build AG with Meo and had a successful launch on October 31, 2009.
Nahanni and Meo wanted to build something unique and different from other communities and we think we have found it. |AG| is the bridge between public TF2 to the next level of comptitive game play.
